Kode With Klossy (KWK) is a 501c3 nonprofit focused on closing the gender gap in tech by developing the next generation of women and gender-expansive technologists. Starting at age 13 and continuing for over a decade, we provide technical skill-building, career-readiness, and community support. By investing early and staying engaged over multiple years, our members emerge as ready-to-hire, Al-native talent equipped to lead the future of innovation.

Kode With Klossy launches year- round programming — two-day AI / Machine Learning “Code-a-Bration” workshops, specifically for scholars new to the KWK community and 4–6 week virtual Challenges to further engage current community members.
Kode With Klossy celebrates its 10th anniversary with celebratory moments throughout the year, including ringing the bell at the New York Stock Exchange and a special microsite (www.kwk10.com) to share hero stories from the KWK community. Major fundraising events spanned a dinner for powerful women in tech (Jan 2025), a St. Louis homecoming (May 2025), and the ultimate NYC night to remember (November 2025). The KWK10 event in NYC was co-hosted by Jenny Just and Naomi Gleit at the Perelman Performing Arts Center (PAC NYC).
Kode With Klossy launches a full slate of workforce development programs to support the 75% of community members who are 18 years old or older. Programming spans technical skill-building and non-technical skill development to prepare our members to be ready-to-hire, Al-native talent equipped to lead the future of innovation.

Kode With Klossy, in partnership with Apple, develops its first-ever AI / Machine Learning curriculum using Apple technology and innovation

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Kode With Klossy quickly pivots the curricula and training to fully virtual delivery, expanding its reach around the globe.
2018
The organization invests in recruiting and training a network of instructors and instructor assistants to lead camps.
2015
Karlie offers 21 scholarships to young women in NYC to learn to code at the Flatiron School. More than 600 applications pour in. The demand is clear, and Kode With Klossy (then called Kode With Karlie) is born.
